About
About this site
An independent community site about Engineering Ecosystem Resilience, an ARIA opportunity space. It is not an official ARIA publication.
Who runs it
This site is maintained by ARIA’s Engineering Ecosystem Resilience team. ARIA’s own pages on the space are across multiple sections at aria.org.uk; where the two differ, ARIA’s pages are typically the authoritative account of what ARIA has decided and funded.
Why it exists alongside aria.org.uk
ARIA’s site describes each activity in the space on its own page. This site gathers them in one place: the original opportunity-space document, the Discovery projects, the opportunity seeds, the Accelerated Adaptation programme, the Echo Labs Focused Research Organization and the Mast-EER training cohort. It also carries updates, open calls and a mailing list for the people working in or following the space.
“Community” means the researchers, teams and organisations funded in the space, the people who took part in its workshops and calls, and anyone else who wants to follow or challenge the work. Membership is not a formal thing: signing up to the mailing list is as far as it goes.
Where the content comes from
- Descriptions of funded work (Discovery projects, seeds, programme projects, Echo Labs, Mast-EER) are reproduced from ARIA’s public pages and press, usually verbatim, and say so on the page.
- Articles reproduced from ARIA open with a “Reproduced from ARIA” banner and keep ARIA’s wording.
- Everything else, including the site’s own posts and page intros, is written by the maintainer and is his view, not ARIA’s.
- Names, affiliations and bios of the people named on this site are taken from ARIA’s public pages.
Contact, corrections and removals
For questions about ARIA’s funding calls, programmes or decisions, go to ARIA: aria.org.uk/contact, or for clarifications on an open funding call, the address given in that call.
For anything about this site, including a correction, or the removal of your name or details, message Yannick Wurm on LinkedIn or Bluesky. Requests are handled by editing the site and redeploying it; there is no separate takedown process.
Ownership and what happens next
The domain, the code repository and the hosting are held personally by the maintainer, not by ARIA. What happens to the site after the programme, or after the maintainer’s time at ARIA, has not yet been settled. When it is, it will be recorded here and in the repository.
